ATLANTIC BUILDERS GROUP COMPLETES
TEMPLE BETH SHALOM
NEW SANCTUARY AND SOCIAL HALL ADDITION

Atlantic Builders Group recently completed the new $3.5 million, 17,000 square foot sanctuary, social hall and kitchen at the Temple Beth Shalom located in Arnold, Maryland.

The new space is an addition to an existing school and administration building. All construction activities, including deliveries to the site had to be coordinated around students' pick up and drop off schedules. Some of the special features of the completed building are walls that extend 16 feet upwards in the social hall and up to 26 feet in the sanctuary, a combination of cherry and maple casework, pews that can accommodate 250 plus worshippers, a 70 foot wide partition consisting of multiple wall panels that moves along a track in the ceiling and a special computer controlled dimming system.

Temple Beth Shalom is a growing congregation consisting of approximately 250 members and is the largest synagogue in Anne Arundel County.
