ATLANTIC BUILDERS GROUP AWARDED
CARMAX AUTO SUPERSTORES'
BALTIMORE PRODUCTION CENTER

CarMax Auto Superstores, Inc. has awarded Atlantic Builders Group, Inc. of Baltimore, MD the contract to construct a vehicle preparation facility at 11301 Pulaski Highway in White Marsh, MD. The 45,397 square foot Service Building and 2,392 square foot Auction Building are sited on 30 acres that three decades ago was the home of the Pulaski Drive In Theater.

The facility will house mechanical and body repair shops, detailing, a parts department and an auction function. Cars from the facility will be readied for sale and transported to CarMax retail locations throughout the region.

Completion of this $10 million project by March 2009 is critical because CarMax is concurrently constructing several new retail locations that will depend upon this facility to provide a steady stream of cars to sell.
