ERIC G. REGELIN ELECTED REGIONAL VICE CHAIRMAN FOR REGION
5 OF ASSOCIATED BUILDERS AND CONTRACTORS
Eric
G. Regelin, President of Atlantic Builders Group, Inc., has
been elected Associated Builders and Contractors Regional
Vice Chairman for Region 5. Region 5 represents 2,750 general
contractor and subcontractor member firms and 8 local chapters
in Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and West Virginia. Associated
Builders and Contractors (ABC) is a national association representing
more than 24,000 merit shop construction and construction-related
firms in 79 chapters across the United States. Mr. Regelin
will serve a two year term through the end of 2008.
Mike
Henderson, President of the Baltimore Metro Chapter of ABC
praised Eric for his many years of dedicated service at the
local chapter level serving on various committees, two terms
as the Chairman of the Baltimore Metro Chapter the Board of
Directors, Maryland Legislative Committee and Grass Roots
Task Force.
Regelin
has 31 years of construction industry experience and is one
of the original majority stockholders who participated in
the 1989 employee buyout of McCormick Construction Company
when it was purchased and renamed Atlantic Builders Group.
He has been President since 1996.
Regelin
received a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Purdue
University and serves on the university's School of Civil
Engineering Advisory Council. He obtained his master's degree
in business administration from Duquesne University in 1982,
and subsequently relocated to the Baltimore area to work for
McCormick Construction Company.
Atlantic
Builders Group provides general contracting, construction
management and design/build services for the construction
of office buildings, technology and health care facilities,
industrial buildings and retail structures throughout the
Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area.
